Flood Inflects Damages in Provinces

Heavy rain-floods inflected damages and sustain materials losses in Laghman province. The Head of Laghman Red Crescent Society Abdul Ghafar Rasooli said that seven people were lost their lives in this heavy rain-flood and thousand hectares of agricultural lands were destroyed in Doulatshah, Qarghai, Alishang and Alinegar districts. Destruction of Noor Bridge in Doulatshah district closed the way to the residents in Noor village, he added. Tens of shops and residential houses were destroyed and a number of animals perished. A delegation of the Red Crescent society Dept. of that province has send to the area to assess the damages. BNA Reports from other provinces, heavy rains inflected damages to Parwan, Nangarhar, Panjshir, Kapisa and Kunar provinces as well.
