260 Tons of Fruits Exported From Kandahar to Pakistan

Kandahar (BNA) 260 tons of fresh and dried fruits were exported from Kandahar to Pakistan.
The fruit was exported to Pakistan on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the country’s Independence by land and through the border of Speenboldak District.
Hayatullah Yayat governor of Kandahar told BNA, the fresh and dried fruits was part of Kandahar’s peasants’ corps this year.
The fruits was purchased from peasants by merchants and is expected to be sold in Pakistan markets.
Abdul Jabar Baluch head of Kandahar Investment Support Office at a ceremony of fruit export from Kandahar to Pakistan said, the government is trying to turn Afghanistan into an exporting country in the region.
