Afghan-India Strategic Agreement Will Not Harm Pakistan, President Karzai

 Kabul (BIA) President Karzai while meeting Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gailani said that the strategic agreement that Afghanistan signed with India is to the interest of this region and that will not be used against the neighboring Pakistan. 

Touching on the historic ties with India, President Karzai said Afghanistan and India has historic ties and on the basis of this a strategic agreement was concluded between the two nations that undoubtedly is to the benefit of the region and that will not harm Pakistan. 

President Karzai expressed pleasure over the formation of the mechanism in Istanbul Conference on the basis of which Pakistan will assess the martyrdom of Prof. Ustad Burhanudden Rabbani chairman of high peace council of the country. 

Both sides emphasized at the meeting that terrorism is a threat to the region and Pakistan and Afghanistan will be safe from this threat when they jointly struggle against it.
