Kabul (BNA) Security problems in the country particularly in Sar-e-Pul, Jawzjan, Kunar and Farah province have caused people concern.
In case of insecurity, ANSF are addressed to focus essential attention to ensure people security. ISIL activities have increased in some districts of those provinces and even passengers on high ways are not save of terrorist activities. Supplies take place to ISIL centers. According to MoD authorities, at present cordon and search operations are going on in different insecure parts and produced positive outcomes. Spokesman of MoD, BG Dawlat Waziri said that ANSF suppress terrorists across Afghanistan. At present 16 operations are underway in 14 provinces with the participation of air forces and commando troops. ANSF are capable to carryout complicated operations as a result of which hundreds armed terrorists have been eliminated and exterminated and large quantities of their war fares have been confiscated by ANSF.
ANSF should be further improved and serious steps should be taken in this direction. ANA, ANP soldiers should be increased and should be equipped with modern weapons and technology and receive update training. Our air and ground forces should be capable to preserve independence, freedom and our national sovereignty beside war on terror.
Procurements including supply of ammunition, medicine, food, clothes etc… play effective role in professionalism of troops that should be particularly concentrated. Lack of air forces and ground troop’s essential equipment are the main challenges. New helicopters are expected to be given to our nascent air forces. The US is involved to study a plan based on which additional military forces will be deployed in Afghanistan that would support our native forces and they would be encouraged to target terrorists.
This may be the last chance to Afghanistan and if in this chance the Taliban problem is not be solved once and for ever, no hope would remain for peace with this group and peace would be changed to an inaccessible dream. What is the solution to prevent civilian casualties? ANSF have always been trying to prevent civilian causalities as far as possible. But some times during war it happens that civilians are damaged but often it happen by insurgents.
