17 Armed Oppositions Arrested

Kabul (BNA) As many as 17 government armed opposition had been arrested in a joint Afghan-NATO security forces operation at the surrendering areas of the provinces of Laghman, Zabul, Kandahar and Ghazni, official said.
A quantity of ammunitions and a number of arms including 17 different weapons, 195 kg of explosive devices, three hand grenades, two cameras, a quantity of hashish, one bicycle and a vehicle had been seized by the police during the operation.
The national police also succeeded to detect 11 mines, six barrel full of explosive devices had been planted in different parts of the provinces of Nangarhah, Kapisa, Kandahar, Logar, Khost and Herat.
