48 Welfare Projects Implemented In Baghlan

Kabul (BNA) At a cost of AFN 73,000,000 funded by the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) 48 welfare projects have been completed in Burka, Tala-o-Barfak, Andarab, Dehsalah, Pul-e-Hesar, Dahna-e-Ghori, Doshi and Nahreen districts and Pul-e-Khumri city the provincial capital of northern Baghlan provinces.
Head of rural rehabilitation and development department of Baghlan said BNA, these development projects encompassed the construction of community centers, culverts, school buildings, water supplies, protection walls, retaining walls, aqueduct, extension of water supplies, micro hydropower stations, excavation of wells equipped with hand pumps and graveling of roads.
Approximately, 15,000 families in different communities had an opportunity to gain access to basic human needs upon completion of these projects.
