Afghan Elections Turnout Demonstrates Convergence, Unity: Qanooni

Kabul (BNA) The people of Afghanistan by their vast participation in April 5 elections had demonstrated their political maturity, convergence, unity and friendship with each other, this was stated by the first vice president Mohammad Younus Qanooni in separate meetings with some lawmakers, elders of Farkhar district and the head of Hizb-e-Harakat-e-Islami Afghanistan, Abdul Ghani Kazimi on Sunday.
According to presidential press office to BNA, Qanooni in his remarks, pointed out that the Afghans by participation in the elections had said no to disharmony and gave end to any rumors and prejudgment that elections won’t be held.
Speaking in the meetings some of the elders besides announcing their support to the programs of the government nothing they want the next leadership of the country should come out from a fair result of the elections.
