Afghanistan Asks Pakistan To Complete Unfinished Projects

Dushanbe (BNA)  Hamid Karzai the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan during meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari which held in Tajikistan capital Dushanbe yesterday stressed for completion of those projects run by Pakistan in Afghanistan. 
In the meeting the issue of transit trade came under discussion and Afghanistan side thanked Pakistan for the steps had been taken to reduce the problem and hoped for continuation of the cooperation. 
Afghanistan’s delegation in the meeting called on Pakistan to develop the railway up to Torkham so as to enable Afghanistan to link its proposed railway to Pakistan. 
Afghanistan minister for finance Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal in the meeting said that Pakistan run projects including Jalalabad-Torkham second road, Jinah hospital in Kabul, Balkh university, Logar hospital and kidney hospital in Jalalabad which have been left incomplete should be completed their work. 
Pakistani delegation said that developing Torkham railway had been discussed with Japan government. 
President Asif Zardari expressed his commitment that Pakistan would fulfill its promise and completes the work on the projects which not been completed so far.
