Afghanistan Records 283 New Cases of COVID, 22 Deaths in the last 24 Hours

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 283 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 46,980 on Wednesday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 22 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,822.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 8,132, as of Wednesday.

The total discharged cases are at 37,026 with 119 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 152,108 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 63,930,654 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,481,580 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
