Afghanistan Reports 126 Additional Cases of Coronavirus

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 126 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 48,952 on Saturday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 11 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,960.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 8,593, as of Saturday.

The total discharged cases are at 38,328 with 62 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 167,758 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 71,148,364 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,596,160 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
