Afghanistan Reports 201 COVID-19 Cases, 16 Deaths in the Last 24 Hours

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 201 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 51,089 on Tuesday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 16 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 2,105.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 8,490, as of Tuesday.

The total discharged cases are at 39,784 with 83 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 184,235 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 77,426,697 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,703,899 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
