Agreement Costing $37.9m Signed Between Afghanistan, Japan

Kabul (BNA) Two agreements were signed the other day between Deputy Political Minister for Foreign Affairs Ministry Ershad Ahmadi and Japan ambassador to Kabul Hirochi Takashi here in Kabul.
Foreign ministry press office said BNA; the first agreement costing $ 35 million is the Japan’s cash assistance to Afghanistan government, while the second agreement costing $ 2.9 million will include assistance of protective appliances to Kabul International Airport and Bamyan Local Airport.
The amount will be provided in the framework of Japan’s assistance to Afghanistan. Before signing the agreements, Deputy Minister of Political Affairs for Foreign Affairs Ministry Ershad Ahmadi in a meeting with Japan ambassador to Kabul praised Japan for its assistance to reconstruction process of Afghanistan in the past 13 years. In return, Japan ambassador to Kabul reassured Afghan people of the assistance in future.
