ANA Kills Five Insurgents

Kabul (BNA) Five armed Taliban insurgents were killed in a clearing operation carried out by Afghan National Army in Maidan-Wardak province last night.
National defense ministry press office said BNA the insurgents were killed when they wanted to carry out destructive and terrorist activities in outskirts of Chek district of the province.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized in the operation.
According to another report, two militants were killed in an operation by national army troops in Farah province.
National defense ministry press office said BNA, the national army forces carrying out an operation aiming stability and peace during elections process in relevant areas of Balabalok district, Farah province, killed 2 militants and wounded three others.
A quantity of military equipment, and explosives’ were seized in the operation.  T. Suraya-Yarzadas
