ANSF Air Operation Leaves 32 Militants Dead

Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) At least 32 armed oppositions were killed and 16 others were wounded during air operation led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in northern Sar-e-Pul province.
Mohammad Zaher Wahdat governor of Sar-e-Pul said BNA reporter, the operation was conducted to suppress Taliban militants and ensure peace and stability in limits of Sancharak district of the province.
Several villages, which already captured by armed insurgents retake by Afghan security forces during the operation, Wahdat added.
According to local officials of Sar-e-Pul, from the beginning of Naweed 19 mopping-up operation in insecure areas of Sancharak district, about 110 rebels were killed and wounded so far.
