CMEC Holds Session

Kabul (BNA) The Council of Ministers Economic Committee (CMEC) with Second Vice President Mohammad Karim Khalili on the chair held meeting on Tuesday.
According to BNA, to begin with, the suggestion of Ofuq-e-Sharq or East Horizon Airliner Company on payment of fines and taxes totaling more 19 million Afghanis on installments was discussed and approved in principal, assigning the finance ministry to cooperate in this regard.
In the continuation of the meeting, the ministry for mines and petroleum presented its report about putting on bid the third factory of Ghoori Cement.
Later, members of the meeting raised questions and suggestions on the modalities of commitments of AIC Company, its ability and weakness as well as cancelling the agreement and it was decided that inter-ministerial committee of the ministry of mines and petroleum to present its report to the economic committee of Ministers’ Council.
