Construction Work of Maidan-Wardak University Building Began

Kabul (BNA) The construction work of Maidan-Wardak university building has started in a ceremony open by governor of the province.
The university building will be built in two jaribs of land in Sayed Abad district, Maida-Wardak province.
Governor of the province in an inauguration ceremony said, the construction of the building is a historic step for Afghan nation especially residents of the Maida-Wardak province.
Abdul Majid Khogyani governor of the province appreciated the high attention of President of the country, Ministry of Higher Education and representative of the province in Lower House who had made effective efforts in that regard.
At the ceremony Shir Baz Zadran deputy minister for higher education read out congratulation message of Dr. Obaidullah Obaid Minister of Higher Education, at the message readout that Ministry of Higher Education will try to build the university building based on modern standards in order to all the student have the opportunity to use these facilities.
Shir Wali Wardak representative of Maidan/Wardak province in parliament called the foundation of the university is valuable for youth of the country to obtain knowledge and serve the country.
According to spokesman of Miadan/Wardak governor, at first step there would be agriculture, economic, literature and education training faculties within the university.
