COVID-19; 211 Additional Cases Reported in Afghanistan, Total Deaths 2, 089

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 211 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 50,888 on Monday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 15 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 2,089.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 8,423, as of Monday.

The total discharged cases are at 39,701 with 543 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 182,599 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 76,880,694 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,694,715 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
