COVID_19 Cases Rise to 6,402, Deaths Up to 165 in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Wahid Majroh, Deputy Minister of Public Health announced that in the past 24 hours 349 tested positive for COVID-19, which brings the total to 6,402 in the country.
There were 15 deaths and 33 recoveries reported in the past 24 hours, Majroh said, adding that total deaths are 168 and total recoveries are 778.
The 349 new cases are reported in Kabul (126), Paktia (56), Nangarhar (37), Balkh (31), Herat (29), Baghlan (11), Logar (10), Kandahar (10), Sar-e-Pul (8), Laghman (8), Takhar (7), Jawzjan (5), Badghis (5), Kunduz (3), Panjshir (1), Bamiyan (1) and Maidan/Wardak (1).
