Dozens Insurgents Killed In Nooristan Ongoing Operation

Paroon City (BNA) Dozens members of Taliban militants were killed and numerous of them were wounded during a military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in eastern Nooristan province.
The operation was started when Taliban rebels carried out massive attack on Waant Waigal district of the province.
A senior commander of police in the east of the country told BNA reporter, during the operation Afghan security forces succeeded to recapture Waant Waigal district and destroyed several hideouts of the rebels in the district.
The operation will continue until the district completely cleared from being of Taliban militants, the source added.
According to another report, six Taliban militants were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Kamdesh district, Nuristan province.
The clashes occurred, while the insurgents with passing Durand Line wanted to replace in Nooristan province.
Also four rebels were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Paroon city the provincial capital of Nooristan province.
The militants wanted to plant road side mine, which targeted and killed by Afghan security forces.
