Eight Armed Insurgents Kill

Kabul (BNA) The press sources of national defense ministry said that eight armed insurgents were killed in an operation launched by national army troops in Paktika province.
The operation launched for clearing of insecure regions from existence of armed insurgents in relevant areas of Barmel district.
National defense ministry spokesman said BNA, in the operation, eight armed insurgents were killed, and four others wounded.  A quantity of heavy and light weapons, explosives and military equipment were also seized.
According to another report, the national army forces discovered and seized a quantity of weapons in relevant areas of Marwara district, Kunar province.  T. Suraya-Yarzada
