Eight Districts of Jawzjan Province Clean-Up From Taliban Militants

Shaberghan City (BNA) Eight districts of northern Jawzjan province have been cleared from existence of armed oppositions, highways of the districts opened on traffic and security situation are better in the areas.
Mawlavi Latfullah Azizi Jawzjan governor said, during the last six months districts of Khamab, Qarqeen, Faizabad, Mardyan, Mangjak, Aqcha, Khanqa and Khawaja Dokoh have been clean-up from being of Taliban militants following Shafaq and Zafar military operations and also 245 rebels were killed, 186 wounded and 117 others were detained.
Taliban rebels are active in Darzab and Qush Tepa districts of the province, which with conducting military operation the districts will be cleared from being of armed oppositions, Azizi added.
With expanding hundreds millions Afghanis construction works underway on dozens public utility projects in different sectors include water supplies, roads, dams, school buildings, clinics, markets, trading centers, sport stadiums, institutes, mosques and other public installations in various parts of the province, governor of the province concluded.
