Explosion in New Year Ceremony Two Killed, Seven Wounded

Kabul (BNA) As a result of a bomb explosion in New Year Ceremony two persons were killed and seven others including the head of governor’s office of Kandahar province were wounded in Khakrez district, of the province yesterday morning.
At the ceremony deputy governor of Kandahar was also present but, he has not harmed in the incident.
The explosion occurred in Shah Agha Shrine when dozen of governmental and non-governmental people participated for New Year ceremony.
Press office in Kandahar said, seven people including the head of governor’s office were injured in the incident.
But, Fazul Mohammad district governor of Khakrez told BNA, two persons were killed and seven others wounded in the explosion.
According to him, a bodyguard of deputy governor of the province was also killed, and the head of governor’s office and police chief of Khakrez district are among the inured people.
Doctors in a health center in Kandahar province claimed that the health condition of four injured including the head of governor’s office critical.
Kandahar official claimed that the armed oppositions are responsible of the incident.
Security forces started searching for identifying and capturing of the suspects.
