First-Ever Dormitory For State-Run Dailies Opened

Kabul (BNA) The first-ever dormitory for the employees of the state-run newspapers was opened with the financial support of a national firm the Brotheran Khoshak Company here the other day.
In her opening remarks, Seemin Hassanzada the deputy Publication with the Ministry for Information and Culture besides thanking the mentioned company said that, “peace of mind and having necessary equipment motivate the employees to give positive feedback.” She also hoped that with having the hostel the problems of journalists of the newspapers working at night shift would be solved.
The chief of government-run newspapers Dr. Shamsul Haq Aryanfar in his address thanked the Brotheran Khoshak Company sa nd said, “It is the first time that the employees of newspapers especially those work at night shift have a dormitory.”
Officials from the newspapers The Kabul Times, Anis, Islah and Hiwad also in their speeches lauded the initiative and called for more attention of the concerned officials for the solution of the problems of newspapers.
