Five Women Released

Kabul (BNA) Five women released from Balkh prison and the term of imprisonment of thirty-two others reduced yesterday.
Gen. Abdullah Aziz general manager of Balkh prison told BNA, Hamid Karzai the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on the occasion of International Women Day, issuing a decree according which five women released and the term of imprisonment of thirty-two others reduced.
He added, another woman who her imprisonment term completed also released from the jail.
Presently, there are seventy-nine women are behind the bars of prison.
