Germany Drums up Support To NUG

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with German ambassador to Kabul Walter Hassman here in Sapidar Palace yesterday, a statement said.
According to CE press office statement, both sides discussed Afghans’ migration to European countries, the economic activities and the political situation. The Chief Executive said that based on the available statistics, the number of Afghans’ fleeing to European countries, in particular to Germany has been decreased, adding that the government will spare no efforts to facilitate the internal displaced people as well as the refugees abroad, the statement added. The Chief Executive also praised Germany’s supports in different spheres in the last fifteen years to Afghanistan.
Meanwhile the German ambassador to Kabul pledged his country’s durable support with the National Unity Government, adding that Brussels conference is very much important as the international community would renew commitments to Afghanistan. The ambassador also went on as saying that his country will never change policy toward the refugees, and those with no legal documents will be expelled.
According to another report, the Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah also met with Iranian ambassador to Kabul Mohammad Reza Bahrami here yesterday, a press statement said.
According to the statement, both sides hinted on enhanced bilateral cooperation in different fields of economic, cultural, social and sport. Besides discussing the ongoing political situation across the country, the Iranian ambassador assured of his country’s continued support from the Afghan government.
