Hundred Armed Taliban Killed, 48 Injured In Paktia Operation

Kabul (BNA) 100 armed Taliban rebels were killed and 48 others were injured in an operation carried out by ANSF in districts of Paktia province recently.
Mohammad Karim Atal spokesman for Paktia governor told BNA, clearing operation conducting by ANSF in Janikhail, Dan-e-Patan and  Samkani districts of Paktia province killed `100 insurgents and injured 48 others.
The source said, a civilian and 16 policemen were also martyred and 9 civilians and 26 other policemen were injured in the operation.
Likewise, numerous of heavy and heavy weapons of Taliban were also seized by ANSF.
It is said that the operation continuing there till annihilation of insurgents in the aforesaid districts.
