Iranian Foreign Ministry Supports Next Afghanistan Govt.

Kabul (BNA) The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister on Asia and Oceania on Monday called the holing of presidential elections a valuable achievement for the people and government of Afghanistan and assured to support the next democratically elected system.
Ibrahim Rahimpur in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) said the wide participation of the Afghan people in the presidential election demonstrates their political maturity.
The senior official of the Iranian foreign ministry called successfully holding of the presidential elections by the Afghans without presence of the foreign forces a prominent point of the political event and added Iran, as the neighboring and friend of Afghanistan congratulates the valuable accomplishment to the government, people and candidates of the country.
The deputy minister also said the election process was held away from any domestic or foreign enemies and with the full enthusiasm of the Afghan people who are fond of determining their fate by their own. He assured his country would support the president elected by the Afghan nation and closely cooperate with the next government of Afghanistan.
