Minister Jahani Hints At Enhanced Sino-Afghan Cultural Relations

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Information and Culture Abdul Bari Jahani in a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Kabul discussed expansion of cultural, literal and artistic relations between Afghanistan and China.
In the meeting, Minister of Information and Culture through pointing to historic cultural and artistic relations between the two countries regarded expansion of the relations as key in deep identification of the two neighboring nations.
Abdul Bari Jahani praised the Chinese ambassador to Kabul for his country’s cooperation with Afghanistan and asked the China for investment in development of Afghanistan culture.
Jahani also asked the Chinese cooperation particularly in development libraries and translations.
Minister of Information and Culture insisted on exchanging of experiences between youth of the two countries as well.
Afterwards, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul spoke related to need of strengthening the cultural relations between the two countries and promised to strengthen cultural, literal and artistic organizations in Afghanistan.
Pointing to establishing relations between writers of the two countries, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul asked MoIC to identify proper figures in order to be invited to China for having scientific meeting in the country.
He also declared his country’s financial support in connection with translation centers and necessary steps needed by MoIC.
