Kabul (BNA) Chairing a commission meeting here on Sunday, acting Minister of Information and Culture, Mohammad Tahir Zuhair emphasized on the glorious organizing of Abdul Ghafar khan International Seminar, Bakhtar Information Agency reported.
The meeting was also attended by advisers to the President on Scientific and Cultural Affairs, representatives of Kabul University and the Afghan Academy of Sciences, as well as advisors and a number of directors of the Ministry of Information and Culture, where the participants discussed topics related to organizing of Pacha Khan international seminar as well as holding of cultural programs to commemorate his personality and thoughts, according to the agency.
Emphasizing on glorious holding of the seminar, Minister Zuhair said: “Our main goal in holding the Pacha Khan International Seminar is to send a message to the extremist, fundamentalist and terrorist groups that violence is a phenomenon imposed on this geography.”
“We must convey Pacha khan’s thought of non-violence to everyone,” the acting minister added, according to BIA.
The members of the commission also presented their opinions and suggestions on the titles of the scientific articles as well as the date of the Pacha Khan International Seminar and the cultural programs related to this event, the agency concluded as saying.
