MoIC Stresses On Observing Moral, Religious Principles By Media

Mazar-E-Sharif (BNA) The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) has asked all media officials in the country to observe moral, religious principles and social morality in their programs and act according to demands of the people of Afghanistan.
Deputy Minister of publication affairs for information and culture Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi in a meeting with media officials and journalists of the country’s north added that media was key and basic pillar of the society and media should play their national and religious responsibility towards development and prosperity of the people of Afghanistan.
Asking media officials not to publish foreign culture in the country, deputy minister of publication affairs said, “We should work for our national and religious culture and not to misuse the freedom of expression in the country and should act according to religious and national values.  Mostafavi asserted that media publication and programs should not be against moral and principles of the society and the media officials should know what the people of Afghanistan wanted from the media and whether they agreed with immoral programs of the  media or not.
