Mopping-Up Operation Leave 8 Taliban Militants Dead

Kandahar City (BNA) At least eight Taliban militants were killed and fifteen others wounded during mopping-up operation led by Afghan security forces in southern Kandahar province.
Col. Mohammad Muhssan Sultani in-charge of public relation of 205 Atal national corps in the south of the country told BNA,  the operation was carried out aiming to eliminate armed rebels in relevant areas of Maiwand and Khakrez  districts of Kandahar, as a result 8 militants were killed and 15 others were wounded.
He added, some weapons and ammunitions have been sized during the operation as well.
