National Defense Minister Meets Australian Parliamentary Envoy

Kabul (BNA) General Abdul Rahim Wardak, minister of national defense on Wednesday met with Australian parliamentary envoy and discussed related to improvement of ANA and assistance of Australia beyond 2014 to Afghan National Army. 
The Afghan minister of defense also briefed the Australian envoy related to improvement and preparation of ANA for holding security responsibilities and appreciated Australian forces for their assistance in reconstruction of Urzgan province. 
The Afghan minister said the more international community pays consideration to capacity building and equipment of ANA, the more the process of transition would go on smoothly. 
In return head of the Australian envoy said Austria will follow every possible step for construction of education centers for Afghan National Army, equipment and participation in budget of ANA beyond 2014. 
He added Australian forces would withdraw according to the plan to be made by NATO.
