National Seminar On Road Maps of Cultural Tourism Development Held

Kabul (BNA) National seminar on roadmaps of cultural tourism development held yesterday in Kabul by deputy tourism minister of the ministry of information and culture Prof. Nabi Farahi, BNA reports.
This seminar is held by ministry of information and culture with cooperation of ISESCO, the culture organization of Islamic countries.
At the outset, Prof. Farahi informed the audience about the importance and role of tourism in promotion of economy and added that in this seminar, discussion taken place around the importance and role of tourism in development of economy and the ways of development of this industry.
He said that importance and introduction of touristic sites of the country, introduction of traditions, culture and the impacts of tourism industry, cultural heritages, historical, cultural and artistic works and their positive impacts on financial affairs of people’s life are the issues that discussion also taken place on them.
Prof. Farahi continued that there are more touristic sites and unparalleled touristic regions in Afghanistan, but are in need of further attention and possibilities as well as cooperation of national and international institutions.
