Kabul (BNA) The 14th meeting of National Procurement Commission (NPC) presided by President Ashraf Ghani held on Tuesday.
In this meeting, 73 procurement cases worth more than 3 billion Afs were reviewed. The 3.9 km road project connecting districts 11 and 17 of Kabul city proposed by CRIDA was approved.
Besides, the NPC discussed 9 other procurement award contracts. The third portion of Khawaf-Herat railway project of AFRA was returned for further assessments to be conducted by MoF, MoFA, MoJ and Office of Senior Legal Advisor to the President. Moreover, the NPC approved termination requests of BPHS health services in Zabul province related to MoPH, reserved equipment for substations related to DABS and Maidanshar-Kandahar Fiber Optic maintenance contract related to MoCIT. However, the termination request for MLAT contract for airspace control and flight check contract related to ACAA was returned for further assessment.
Furthermore, the NPC discussed and issued relevant instructions on 37 other requests, memos and cases. The NPC also issued instructions on 15 requests for amendments related to projects of different entities.
Finally, realization reports of 5 previous NPC decisions were also reported to NPC. In this session, besides NPC members, NPA officials and national and international observers had also participated.
