President Ghani Chairs Cabinet Meeting

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan chaired the cabinet meeting the other day, during which some key issues have been discussed, BNA reported.
The president, condemning the Northgate terrorist attack tasked the related officials for lauding the two policemen showed bravery to eliminate the terrorists, the agency said.
After hearing full report of the ministry of finance about the 2016’s ordinary and development budget of fiscal year, the president tasked the ministries of finance and the related ministries and administrations to revise about the procurements workers and replace them with those eligible and professional ones and that the government ministers and directors to lead their meetings of budget and manage the next year’s fiscal year budget and send to the ministry of finance, National Procurement General Directorate and the administration affairs of the presidential office.
The cabinet also approved seven international conventions presented by the minister of foreign affairs, the agency further said.
The meeting tasked director of the administration affairs of the presidential office to organize a meeting, with the participation of ministers of education and higher education and wide number of teachers and students, government universities experts under the chairmanship of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan this week to take decision on preparation of entry-test and balancing the schools at the capital and the country’s provinces, according to the agency.
Other ministries and officials including Ministry of Transport and Air Aviation, Ministry of Hajj and Islamic Affairs presented their reports about their ministries works and plans, with the cabinet pledging to remove their challenges after approving their reports.
