President Karzai Issued Decree On Amendment of 26th Article For Punishment Executions Law

Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has issued a decree on changing 26th article of punishment executions law, according to directorate of information and public affairs for administrative affairs of secretariat of cabinet.
The decree said:
Article 01: I’m endorsing the decree based on verdict of 79th article of Afghanistan constitution, changing of article # 26 of punishment executions law approved based on draft # 44 dating 17/02/2014 of ministers council.
Article 02:  Minister of Justice and State Minister of Parliamentary affairs are tasked to offer the decree to national assembly within 30 days after the first session of the assembly.
Article 03: The decree is enforced from the date of enforcement and should be released in official gazette along with draft and change.
