President Karzai Receives Nooristan Ulema, Elders

Kabul (BNAS) Ulema, influential figures and representatives from the provincial council of Nooristan met with President Hamid Karzai at the presidential palace, his office said. 
A statement issued by the presidential press office said at a meeting attended by the countrywide ulema council chief, Mawlawi Qeyamuddin Kashaf and education minister, Dr. Farooq Wardak, representing others Mawlavi Mohammad Zarif and Haji Abul Sabo spoor spoke over their problems of the province residents calling lack of healthcare centers and security personnel a big challenge. 
They also asked the government to issue scholarship for the religious schools graduated girl students and send a delegation comprised of the Wolesi Jerga members and other state organs representatives to problem the administrative and military conditions of the province. 
Following the requests, president Karzai instructed chief of country wide ulema council, Mawlawi Qyamuddin Kashaf to soon establish the ulema council in the province and appoint its members as well as vowed to do much for the girl students graduated from the religious schools.
