Road Construction Work Begin In Khost

Kabul (BNA) The asphalting work of a road started in Khost province the other day.
The road with 4 km length and 14km width will be connected four districts to the center of Khost province.
It is mentionable that with the asphalting of the road the problems of thousands residents of the area will be settled.
Engineer Mamor Shah Head of public work department of the province told BNA, the road will be built on two ways according to national standards within eight months.
According to the local authorities, the project will be built at the cost of 59800000 Afs by ministry of public work.
Abdul Jabar Naemi governor of Khost province in a ceremony held at this regard ask from the construction company officials to use high quality materials on constructing the road.
Governor of Khost added with the construction of the road the problems of thousands families will be settled regarding to transportation, trade, transit and economic spheres.
He added, the efforts have started to step up the construction of roads with assistance of government and other organization.
Khost is a province where the most of construction and renovation works have been completed.
