Sar-e-Pul Provincial Council’s Representatives Call On VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA) A number of Sar-e-Pul provincial council representatives called on second vice president Sarwar Danesh and expressed their concern over deterioration of security situation in the province.
In the meeting attended  also by a number of representative of parliament, representatives of Sar-e-Pul provincial council expressed their concern over insecurities and activities of armed insurgents in various districts of the province, saying that the problem would increase if the government not take serious steps towards security and counter terrorism in the province. Afterwards, second vice president while praising members of the council for pursuing demands and suggestions of the people of Sar-e-Pul asserted he was known of the problems.
Second vice president further said that he raised the security issue of the province in the first session of Afghanistan national Security Council, adding that he was trying to address current existed problem in the province. Pointing that security forces were engaged in fighting armed insurgents in various parts of the country, second vice president further said coordination between security organs could provide better facilities for fighting enemies of the people of Afghanistan. According another report, second vice president met yesterday with elders and dignitaries of Maidan Wardak.
