Sar-e-Pul Strategic Points Clean-up From Existence of Taliban Rebels

Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) With launching a mopping-up operations most strategic points of northern Sar-e-Pul province have been cleared from being of armed oppositions.
Col. Abdul Qayoum Baqizoy security commander of Sar-e-Pul told BNA reporter, the operation under the code name of Naweed 13 was started five days ago in different parts of Sar-e-Pul center and continuing now.
Most strategic paints and all villages, which already controlled by insurgents have been clean-up from existence of armed rebels, Baqizoy added.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been discovered and seized during the operation so far.
