Saudi Ambassador Assures Full Support To Afghan-Led Peace Process

Kabul (BNA) The president’s special representative on reform and good governance Ahmad Zia Massoud met with Mesfer Al-Ghaseb ambassador of the Saudi Arabia in Kabul here yesterday, a statement said, adding that both sides discussed topic related to mutual interest, including issue relating to security in Afghanistan and Muslim world, emerging of ISIS and wide spreading of the extremism.
Hinting to historical relation between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, the Saudi ambassador said that his country is committed to bolster ties with Afghanistan in different spheres, including the good governance, adding that security in Afghanistan is on the benefit of region and the whole world.
The ambassador also assured Ahmad Zia Massoud of his country’s readiness to help Afghanistan in judicial, justice, Afghan-led peace process and elimination of the terrorist groups.
Praising Saudi Arabia’s assistance to Afghanistan, Ahmad Zia Massoud said that Taliban and other terrorist networks abusing the holy name of Islam for their personal purposes, adding that it is the duty of Muslims to jointly fight terrorism, extremism and barbarism.
