Second VP Promises Quick Solutions To Daikundi Problems

Kabul (BNA) A number of students, youths and culturists of Shahrestan district of Daikundi Province met with second vice president Mohammad Sarwar Danesh here yesterday, BNA reported, adding that the meeting discussed the district’s problems.
According to Bakhtar News Agency, the people of Shahrestan express concern over delay in asphalting of the road which connects Largar area with the center of the provinces, asking the second vice president to have serious attention on the said issue.
Thanking the youths and students of the said district for raising their voice on behalf of others, the second VP said that would investigate the project through the local organs.
The second vice president said that the North-South highway would be built with the total amount of 200 Million USD which will cross Daikundi province, adding that project would ease the local Daikundi people to have access to one of the country’s biggest highways.
The second vice president went on saying that dealing with illegal armed individuals, insecurity and demands of the people are the responsibility of the local organs and hinted on officials’ serious attentions on this aspect.
