Seminar On Kunar In The Courses Of History Held In Asadabad

Asadabad (BNA) A seminar on Kunar in the course of history was held yesterday in Asadbad, capital city of eastern Kunar province. 
The seminar which was attended by the Afghan cultural figures, writers and researchers was held by Afghan ministry of information and culture and ended with a resolution. 
In the seminar, the Afghan researchers, writers and cultural figures read out their articles related to history, natural sources and culture of Kunar. 
In the seminar Ghulam Nabi Farahi, deputy minister of information and culture spoke about rich history of Kunar and said, “Afghan ministry of information and culture is trying to work on preservation and renovation of historic places of Kunar. 
Related to presence of forests, natural views and historic places of Kunar, Farahi said the ministry of information and culture is determined to launch an effective program for renovation and improvement of tourism in the province. 
Deputy Minister of information and culture asked the local people of Kunar to further work for preservation of historic treasures and places of the province. 
At the end of the seminar, the participants approved a resolution which is asking the government for preservation and renovation of forests and tourism. Kunar, an eastern province of the country, has a rich history.
