Senate’s Second Deputy Meets Traffic Police Chief

Kabul (BNA) Senate’s second deputy Rafiullah Gul Afghan met yesterday traffic police Chief Col. Mohammad Shafiq Sayeedi.
In the meeting, traffic police chief while briefing on to a series of developments in traffic as prevention of corruption, providing facilities to people and preparation to Nawroz Festival added driving license and road permit would be soon computerized for the first time in the country.
He enumerated a number of problems and obstacles as lack of parking lots in residential and commercial towns causing rush of vehicles and blocking roads in the city and lack of information relating to traffic rules, asking Senate for cooperating in this regard.
Later on, Senate’s second deputy stressed on traffic discipline in the city and proper behavior of traffic police with people, promising to cooperate with traffic department and asked Kabul Municipality and people for cooperation with traffic police for prevention of traffic jams in rush hours and better implementation of traffic rules in the country.
