Six Armed Oppositions Killed

Kabul (BNA) In recent clashes six armed rebels were killed by Afghan military forces in the east of the country.
The clashes occurred the night before last when a group of armed insurgents attack on border police checkpoints in Shigal district, Kunar province and Kamdish district, Nuristan province.
A commander of border police told BNA, six insurgents were killed in the clashes.
He added, the clashes occurred when a group of armed gunmen attacked on the other side of Durand Line on Afghan border police checkpoints.
It has been said at the end of the clashes some military equipment and explosive materials seized by Afghan security forces.
