Taliban Mine Planters Killed In Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) Eight Taliban mine planters were killed in shooting of security forces in Kandahar province yesterday.
The Taliban wanted to plant a mine on a general road, were targeted by security forces and killed.
Sohrab Samim spokesman of public order police of the province told BNA, Taliban wanted to plant a mine on a general road of Maiwand district, targeted by security troops and killed.
Another report says that three weapons caches of Taliban were discovered in Kandahar province.
Spokesman of public order police said numerous of weapons were seized by the caches.
He added the caches were kept in a Taliban hideout in Maiwand and Zheri districts.
