Taliban Sustained Heavy Casualties

Kabul (BNA) Fifty-four armed Taliban who wanted to disturb elections process were killed by security troops in Ghazni province.
Interior ministry press office stated BNA; the national police forces conducted clearing operations during holding of elections process in relevant areas of Ajristan, Waghez, Gelan, Dehyak, Qarabagh, Andeer and Moqor districts of Ghazni province.
The operation conducted when armed Taliban wanted to carry out terrorist activities in voting centers, but fortunately were identified by security forces and killed.
Security officials of that province said that 54 Taliban were killed and 16 others wounded in the operations.
