Thirteen Taliban, Including Several Pakistani Insurgents, Killed in Nangarhar Air Raid

Jalalabad (BNA) Thirteen Taliban insurgents, including several Pakistani Taliban insurgents, were killed in an airstrike in Nangarhar.

Mullah Abdul Qudus, a local Taliban commander, was among those killed.

The Taliban were attacked by air force in Khogyani district bazaar just before noon yesterday when they attacked a security checkpoint.

A senior Nangarhar security official told BNA that 13 Taliban militants, including several Pakistani Taliban insurgents, were killed in the airstrike.

He confirmed that Mullah Abdul Qadus, a local Taliban commander, was also among those killed.

Seized Document from the dead bodies of the Taliban show that a number of them are Pakistani citizens.

The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
