Three Members of Popular Uprising Forces Martyred in Balkh

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Three members of the popular uprising forces were martyred in an armed Taliban attack in Balkh last night.
Salima Mazari, the district governor of Chaharkent in Balkh, told BNA that the Taliban attacked on checkpoints in southeastern district of Chaharkent in the province around 10 a.m., and the clashes lasted overnight.
Mazari added that three members of the popular uprising forces were martyred and three others were wounded in the Taliban attack.
