UK Ambassador Calls On Qanooni

Kabul (BNA) The first vice president Mohammad Younus Qanooni met British ambassador to Afghanistan, Richard Stagg yesterday.
According to BNA, in the meeting, the first vice president described Afghanistan elections as national movement and said that the, “people of Afghanistan as with complete bravery and solidarity supported the elections process are waiting to see the result.”
The vice president also added that the election as a successful examination is entering its new phase and hoped the result to match the desire of the voters.
In the meeting the British ambassador besides hailing the holding successful elections also congratulated it to the vice president. The Royal Britain ambassador also termed holding the elections as milestone and hoped the process after completion of the elections commissions would lead to the peaceful transfer of power in Afghanistan.
